This year your Conesus Lake Association has been working with the Coast Guard Auxiliary to help with boating safety. In May, boaters could get a courtesy examination at the State Launch, but on June 17 from 10:00 to noon there will be opportunity at Long Point Park where you can either drive up or come into the public dock.

An exam doesn’t take long—only about 15 minutes—but will give you the peace of mind that you have all your safety gear shipshape and ready to go. And remember: the exams are free and the Auxiliary can never issue citations in case a boat doesn’t pass!
