Project Description:
This is the group that has worked with the Watershed Council, the Livingston County Health department, and the DEC on helping to improve the communication process when there is a HAB event on the lake. This includes how, when, and what is communicated.
Immediate Needs:
- Much of this process was updated and improved over the past 24 months and appears to be working relatively well. We are always open to reviewing the process, the information being communicated, and any ideas that might be relevant to HAB reporting.
Current Team Members:
- Curtis Levermore – as an active participant for the CLA on the Watershed Council Technical committee.
- Gene Bolster – had served in this same role prior to Curtis and contributed significantly on behalf of the CLA toward the current process.
